Traditional medicine system: अब ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के वैद्यों को भी मिलेगी मान्यता

Traditional medicine system: प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी (PM Narendra Modi) की सरकार जल्द ही देश के अनेक हिस्सों में काम कर रहे वैद्यों (Vaidya’s) की एक सूची बनाने जा रही है, जोकि लंबे समय से पारंपरिक ज्ञान के जरिए चिकित्सिय सेवाएं (Traditional knowlage and medical services) दे रहे हैं। लेकिन उनको कोई मान्यता अभी तक नहीं दी गई है। कुछ राज्यों में इस तरह का काम हुआ है, लेकिन ज्य़ादातर स्थानों पर पारंपरिक वैद्यों को झोलाछाप कहा जाता है। लेकिन अब सरकार इसकी सुध लेने जा रही है।

संसद में रतलाम से सांसद गुमान सिंह दामोर (Guman Singh Damore) के पूछे गए एक सवाल के जवाब में आयुष मंत्री सर्वानंद सोनेवाल (Minister of Ayush Sarbananda Sonewal) ने बताया कि पहले की सरकारों ने प्राचीन चिकिस्ता पद्धति की शक्ति को नहीं पहचाना था। लेकिन नरेंद्र मोदी की सरकार ने ना सिर्फ इसको पहचाना बल्कि आज आयुष ने सिर्फ देश में ही नहीं बल्कि दुनिया में अपनी पहचान बनाई है। उन्होंने कहा कि जो भी हमारे वैद्य हैं, जो पारंपरिक ज्ञान के जरिए जोकि ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में सेवाएं देते आए हैं। इनको मान्यता देने का काम शुरु हो गया है। इसकी सूची तैयार होनी चाहिए। हमने हर राज्य को कहा गया है कि ऐसी सूची बनाएं जिनको अभी तक कोई मान्यता नहीं मिली है। उनको मान्यता देने का काम चल रहा है।

दरअसल देश में हज़ारों ऐसे पारंपरिक ज्ञान वाले हीलर्स या वैद्य हैं जोकि चिकित्सिय कार्यों में निपुण हैं और दूर दराज के इलाकों में आज भी अपने ज्ञान के जरिए लोगों का इलाज करते हैं। लेकिन एलोपैथी के दबाव में पुरानी सरकारों ने कभी इस ज्ञान को मान्यता नहीं दी थी। लिहाजा बहुत सारी विद्याएं धीरे धीरे करके विलुप्त होती जा रही थी। लेकिन अब मोदी सरकार ने इस ज्ञान को सूचीबद्ध करना शुरु कर दिया है।
