Why low BP causes dizziness, know what to do when you have a chance

People often complain of all kinds of symptoms like restlessness, dizziness and headache when BP is low. But, have you ever wondered how their connection to BP is? After all, when the blood pressure is low, what happens that these activities in the body start appearing as symptoms. After this, the next question is what to do after this and what things to take care of so that it is easily controlled. But first of all, know why BP is low and after that you feel dizzy. Let’s know about all these things in detail.

Whenever it comes to BP, you must have always seen its reading as two numbers. Above is the number of systolic pressure, which is a measure of the pressure in the arteries when the heart beats and blood fills them. The lower number measures diastolic pressure, the pressure in the arteries when the heart rests between beats. Normal BP is between 90/60 mmHg and 120/80 mmHg. But, when it is less than this, BP is considered low.

When blood pressure is low, the vital organs of the body do not get enough oxygen and nutrients. When this happens, the body may suffer a setback due to low blood pressure. In such a situation, when your brain does not have enough blood supply, you feel dizzy which is called postural hypotension.

  1. Drink salt water immediately.

If the BP becomes low and there is frequent dizziness, then make a salt solution and give it to the person. Actually, salt contains sodium which accelerates brain activity, increases blood pressure and accelerates the speed of pumping blood. Later you can also add sugar and salt to it.

  1. Drink warm milk or coffee

Hot milk and coffee work quite fast in increasing BP immediately. Actually, the multinutrients of milk help in balancing BP, so coffee caffeine helps to increase low BP immediately. So, if you also start getting chakkandue to low BP, then you can follow these two things. Apart from this, drink water and eat food properly. Because lack of energy and hydration also causes low BP.
