Cauliflower disadvantages: Cauliflower is considered to be a very beneficial vegetable. It is rich in vitamin C, antioxidants and fiber which help in fighting many diseases. But some people should consume cauliflower carefully. Because it also has some disadvantages that it is important to know about. Carbohydrate called raffinose present in cauliflower can prove to be extremely harmful to the digestive system.

For some people it may not be okay for digestive functions. This can cause gas, diarrhea and stomach pain. People with pre-existing digestive problems such as irritable bowel syndrome or IBS should consume cauliflower in very small quantities. Eating cauliflower can worsen their condition. Thyroid problems

Those who have thyroid problems should eat cauliflower carefully, as it can reduce the gobraestrogen found in cabbage, which can affect the thyroid.

Kidney stones

Those who have kidney stone problems should eat cauliflower with caution, as it can increase calcium and oxalate, which can cause the stone to grow.

Breast Cancer Risk

Some studies have shown that women who are affected by the problem of breast cancer should not eat cauliflower because it is harmful to them.

Use of blood thinners

Those who are using blood thinners should not eat cauliflower too much, as it can increase the consumption of vitamins and cause bleeding problems.

Gas problem

People suffering from problems like gas, indigestion and flatulence in the stomach should avoid cauliflower. A carbohydrate called raffinose present in cauliflower can cause gas in the intestines, which can increase stomach pain, bloating and indigestion problems.
